I’m still on the lookout for a literary agent — it’s both exciting and a little overwhelming. I’m especially curious about the experiences of other writers in Canada. How did you find your agent? Through conferences, referrals, cold queries, social media?

Any tips on what to avoid or what absolutely worked for you would be incredibly helpful. I’d love to hear both the good and the not-so-great stories — they all help paint a realistic picture of the process.
